The Heart of Southeast Asia - 2022

• This trip is moderately easy paced
• Your 20-day expedition cruise includes 12 nights aboard the 5-star Ocean Odyssey, plus Deluxe hotel stays for 5 nights (2 nights each in Singapore and Hanoi, and 1 night in Phnom Penh). Please note that the 20 days include the day you depart from home and your overnight flight, plus the day you depart for home 
• The cruise portion of your tour includes six ports of call, in addition to embarkation and disembarkation ports
• There are three days at sea when you have ample time to relax and enjoy the amenities on board your luxury expedition vessel
• We often cruise overnight, but some scenic sailing will be conducted during daylight hours

You should be in relatively good health to fully enjoy this tour.

• This journey does not entail walking for great distances, but you will be on your feet for up to four hours for half-day excursions and eight hours for full-day excursions
• Most city sightseeing takes place on air-conditioned coaches and city walking tours with guides
• There are several walking tours through historic centers and villages where uneven steps and cobblestones should be expected
• This cruisetour is not suitable for those who have difficulty walking or require wheelchairs or other mobility aids. Please refer to Vantage's wheelchair and handicapped traveler policy

• Your ship is your main means of transportation between destinations
• All land transportation is conducted on board deluxe, air-conditioned motorcoaches
• During your tours in Singapore, Phnom Penh, and Hanoi you will ride on trishaws/cyclo carts

Please note: Ocean cruising is not the same experience as river cruising; as such, you may experience fluctuating tides and weather patterns that may involve some rocking of your vessel. Itineraries include all activities as planned, except in extreme cases that can’t be controlled by your shipboard crew.

• In all your Southeast Asian destinations the climate is subtropical or tropical, and there is very little variation in temperatures and high humidity. Expect average daily highs around 87°–93°F (30-34°C), with evenings typically 5-10 degrees lower. November through January are usually the rainiest months
• The sun is strong in all our destinations, so sunscreen, sunglasses, and sun hats are musts
• Stay cool by wearing lightweight fabrics (such as cotton or linen)
• For protection from the sun, do as the locals do and cover up by wearing longer pants or skirts, and shirts with sleeves
• Bring a light rain jacket or umbrella
• At sea it can occasionally be windy. A windbreaker, sweater, or light jacket is recommended

• Shorts, short skirts, or revealing clothing are not appropriate, especially when visiting temples or religious sites. Your regional expert will tell you ahead of time which days require a dress code
• Bring sensible walking shoes which can be easily removed when required; sandals are ideal when visiting temples because they can be easily removed

• While cruising, Internet connectivity may be limited or unavailable depending on ship location and signal availability
• Internet connectivity will be normal when at docking locations
